Anthracite
Deep slate and charcoal-grey aggregates, lifted by silver and pale stone flecks. One of our most requested finishes — bold, contemporary, and built to last.

The perfect bold, modern finish
Anthracite is one of Daltex Resin Experts' most requested finishes — and it's easy to understand why. This striking, contemporary blend combines deep slate and charcoal-grey aggregates with lighter silver and pale stone flecks that catch natural light beautifully, preventing the surface from feeling flat or heavy. The result is a driveway that reads as genuinely premium: controlled and modern, with the natural depth and texture that only real stone aggregate can deliver.
Unlike painted or coloured concrete surfaces, Anthracite's tones live within the stone itself. They won't fade, peel, or chalk over time. Every bag is a naturally rounded and angular aggregate blend, laid at 15–18mm over a prepared MOT Type 3 open-graded sub-base, producing a surface that is fully SuDS compliant — rainwater drains freely through the surface and into the ground below, eliminating puddles and meeting planning requirements for front driveways without needing additional drainage infrastructure.
Anthracite works equally well on driveways, patios, pathways and pool surrounds. It coordinates cleanly with anthracite-grey window frames, dark composite front doors, granite sett edging and contemporary brick and stone — making it a natural choice for both modern new builds and traditional period properties across London and the South East.
Why Anthracite works so well
- Timeless, modern colour that doesn't date
- Lifts period properties and complements contemporary builds equally
- Silver flecks add depth and stop the surface reading as plain black
- Fully SuDS compliant — meets front driveway planning rules
- Colour is locked in the stone — no fading or peeling
- Coordinates with anthracite frames, dark doors and stone edging
Colours may vary in person
